We aim to despatch orders within two working days of being received (Mon-Fri).

If you place an order before 10am we will do our best to despatch it on the same day. During busy periods such as Ramadan and Eid, there may be some delays.

Goods are sent by second class Royal Mail within the UK and should arrive within 3-5 working days. For urgent orders please contact us prior to placing your order online. Extra charges will apply for Royal Mail 1st class and Next Working Day courier services.

International orders are dealt with individually, but we aim to use the quickest means possible. All orders are shipped as standard via Royal Mail Airmail Standard Service. This is not a trackable service. For urgent orders or for requests for a courier delivery, please contact us prior to placing your order online.

US/CA estimated delivery 15-21 days

Rest of the World 21-30 working days

You can check your order’s current status in your online account. If your books have not arrived within a reasonable delivery time you can inquire into the status of your order by e-mail to sales@bookcentre.co.uk

A customer may cancel an order between placing the order and it being shipped. If the cancellation happens after the goods have been processed and despatched then a refund will not be offered until the goods have been returned. Original delivery costs in this case are non-refundable, as are the returns postage cost.

When we ship books outside the UK, the recipient is liable for any local taxes or import duties that may be payable. The BookCentre can take no responsibility for this and if the goods are returned due to unpaid tax the costs will not be refunded as the sale has been completed. Although the goods can be re-despatched with a further charge for dispatch at the customer’s request.

Our postage charges for both mainland UK and International deliveries are based on the current Royal Mail rates, plus a 50p charge for packaging.
